MediaTek announced that it has joined Microsoft Azure Certified for Internet of Things (IoT). Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT allows businesses to connect to customers with an ecosystem of devices and platforms.
Under MediaTek’s AIoT program, the i300A (M8362A) and i500 (MT8385) have achieved Microsoft Azure Certification.
The i300A is designed for display oriented, touchscreen enabled smart hub devices that require voice assistants. And The i500 is designed for home and commercial IoT applications that require high performance edge processing, advanced multimedia capabilities, high-resolution cameras, connected touchscreen displays and multitasking OS. Both platforms support Android 10 and Yocto Linux OS solutions based on Kernel version 5.4.
