Fujitsu and Zippin announced a new partnership to accelerate Zippin’s checkout-free solution in Japan. Fujitsu is Zippin’s first exclusive distributor and will start offering Zippin’s checkout-free solution by March 2021 to create a new AI smart store business.
The partnership enables Fujitsu to build a new retail solution by leveraging Zippin’s checkout-free SaaS platform, which focus on cashier-free and cashless operations. Features may include identity verification with multi-biometric authentication. The technological expertise of Fujitsu and Zippin will accelerate the digital transformation of any retail store.
